Mokona

Mokona has about 8 regular sleeping places in the flat. Three of them are in the office being the scratch post, the desk and the tall bookself. All he had on top of the shelf was an old pillow and a glass of water. I wanted to spend the Sunday to create a cozier place on top of the shelf.

I made a cover for the old pillow and a small fleece blanket in the same color as Mokona’s fur. He got a new glass, some art work on the wall, and a pot of cat grass. He’s very pleased and has been sleeping there since I finished it a few hours ago.

I realized that I haven’t updated the blog for ages. So here’s an update.

Misa started to sleep next to me in the bed after we moved in to the new bedroom about two months ago. She also enjoys sleeping under the duvet cover, and spends most of her sleeping time in the bedroom in different places, like the sofa, the small sleepypod or the carpet in front of the balcony door. She gets a little bit braver for each day, but Robin is still the favorite!

Mokona has become even more talk active and hunts water about 30% of his awake time. He has water in about 6 different places and demands to drink tap water from every tap in the flat every day. He loves sleeping under the duvet cover as well but when both of the cats are under the duvet cover together, they can’t help themselves from wrestling each other. One can tell that Mokona feels like he’s the center of universe, so I think he knows how loved he is.
