Misa is very happy these days. She’s changing and is braver than ever, but still afraid of me. She need to clip her claws but she panics whenever I try. I have to solve this…

It’s almost spring

Friday, March 5th, 2010

The cats are thrilled to be able to go outside and feel the sun on their fur.

Misa has a new cat bed. she loves these donuts from kid robot. But I’ve bought ours at lazy oaf.

I love these goat skins you can get at IKEA for just 20€. The cats love them so much and they’re just the perfect size for them!

We have so many boxes now that it’s a city of some sorts. They play with them and I hide little pieces of dry food for them to hunt.

Yep! It’s finally spring and the cats can enjoy the fresh air again.

This is one of Misa’s favorite spots, on the carpet in the kitchen. It’s a good spot because she gets treats, cuddles and play there.

Mokona has a dog stuck to his paw

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

Mokona is changing his personality. He’s talking a lot and is more affectionate and needy. He’s also obsessed with water.

Yummy Donut

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

we got this 24″ cushion and misa said “it’s my new cat bed!” I guess we can share it

They are still ill!

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

I wrote that they both suffered from fever and diarrhea and the vet is trying to figure out what it is. We ran several tests yesterday and ruled out some things. They are getting treatment for two types of bacteria for seven days. Mokona is very weak… he has high fever, but so does Misa. But Misa has always been sick so she’s actually quite cheery although she’s just as sick as Mokona.

Misa has made a lot of progress in the social sphere since the first visit to the vet. She sleeps in our bed, talks and wants to cuddle. We still can’t carry her or cut her claws. She still keeps a distance when we walk around her, but she’s not scared when we’re on her level (lying or sitting on the floor).

Ghost cat!
